TEETH CLEANING

We all know how important our teeth are to eating and smiling, but equally important are the gums and bone that hold them in place! Our dental hygienists are highly trained to evaluate the condition of your teeth and gums and clean them in the appropriate manner. Depending on the condition of your teeth, we may recommend a deeper initial cleaning called a “full mouth debridement,” a routine 6-month cleaning, more regular 3 – 4 month cleanings, or specialized deep cleanings called “scaling and root planing,” where we can numb the area and clean buildup under the gumline where your toothbrush cannot reach. This helps fight gingivitis and periodontal disease and allows you to maintain your teeth as long as possible!
